Auditions for Kinnect 2024 will be held Monday December 11th, 2023 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.

 BYU Richards Building

MEMBERS OF BYU KINNECT ARE:

TEACHERS ~ providing student-centered, engaging, meaningful, fun, and artistic dance experiences

CHOREOGRAPHERS ~ of educational and interactive dance for public schools, museums, communities and conferences

​

PERFORMERS ~ representing the best that Contemporary Dance at Brigham Young University has to offer

WHAT TO EXPECT WHILE IN KINNECT:

Kinnect is a Winter semester and Spring term commitment

Register for the following for Winter semester:

  • Rehearsals: M & W, 3 - 5pm (Dance 348R) 

  • Some Saturday rehearsals 9:00 - 12:00 TBA

  • Creative Dance for Elementary: Fridays, 9 - 10:50am Dance 365 or Tuesday evening Dance 326

  • Contemporary Dance Technique: (Dance 241R, 243R, 340R, 341R, or 440R) 

Spring Term May 1st - June 1st

  • Register for 0.5-2.00 credits Dance 348

  • Perform at the elementary schools Monday - Friday 7:00 to 10:00 am

  • Teach every other day 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
